The Big Carnival Birthday Celebration

How do you throw a birthday fit for a boy and a girl? A 5 year old and a 4 year old?

Well this year we actually had it at our house [super excited about our yard].

A theme that would work on them both - CARNIVAL.

So about 10 months ago I started planning {yes you are reading that right}. I came up with the theme and I went to work.

I knew that I wanted it to be FUN, FESTIVE, FAMILY, FRIENDS and above all great for our babies.

When we moved into our new house in February the back yard would fit perfectly.

Then I became a fan {addict} of pinterest and it was game on.

Here is the run down of the party ideas: {pictures to follow}

- Photo Booth - Velvet Rope - Check them out!
- Face painter
- Popcorn Machine [thanks to the hubbies work]
- Tables and chairs {thanks to my work}
- Wonderfully hand made signs [thanks to the mother-in-law]
- Centerpieces - super easy and cheap {thanks to work and mother-in-law}
- Games - thank you pinterest
- Prizes
- Hot Dog and Nacho Bar
- Carnival Theme Rubber Ducks {staple item that I have used at every party - construction theme, princess, wild animal, cowboy/cowgirl}

This party would not have been able to go off without the wonderful help of many people {disclaimer if I miss anyone please let me tell you THANK YOU very much and I appreciate all of your help and if I did  miss your name it is more due to my tiredness then anything else} - my mother for being with me for the ENTIRE weekend working from morning to late night BOTH days and just being a trooper, my wonderful hubby - a champ that is for sure!!!, my mother-in-law for watching the babies and keeping me kid free to get all of the baking and party stuff up, my father-in-law for helping with set up and "lending" us tables and other items, my mother-in-law thank you for the help and coming over to do centerpieces/signs and prizes, thank you to my brother and sister-in-law for coming early and helping me get the last minute things done and getting the babies ready for their party AND taking photos. {to everyone that took photos please send them to me quickly so I can use them}
